2. DESMOND TUTU
Dr. Desmond Mpilo Tutu is a South African activist and Christian cleric who rose to worldwide fame during the 1980s as an opponent of apartheid.
Archbishop Tutu has been active in the defense of human rights and uses his high profile to campaign for the oppressed. He has campaigned to fight AIDS, tuberculosis, homophobia, poverty and racism. Tutu received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984, the Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism in 1986, the Gandhi Peace Prize in 2005, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009.
Geet Sethi
* Geet Sethi of India is a professional player of English billiards who dominated the sport throughout much of the 1990s, and a notable amateur snooker player. He is a six-time winner of the professional-level and a three-time winner of the amateur World Championships, and holder of two world records, in English billiards. He, along with Prakash Padukone, have co-founded Olympic Gold Quest which is a Foundation for the Promotion of Sports in India.
* A major sporting hero in India, he is a recipient of India's highest sporting award, the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna for 1992–1993; both the Padma Shri and the Arjuna Award in 1986; and the K.K. Birla Award, 1993.
Pankaj Advani
* Pankaj Advani is a World Champion in snooker and billiards from India. After winning the IBSF World Billiards Championship in 2005 at Qawra, Malta, when he defeated fellow countryman Devendra Joshi, he became only the second cueist after Malta's Paul Mifsud to have won both the billiards and snooker world titles. Advani, who is the only player to have achieved a "grand double" of winning both the points and timed formats at the IBSF World Billiards Championships 2005, has repeated the same feat at the 2008 Championships held in Bangalore as well.

Magnus Carlsen
* Magnus Carlsen is a Norwegian chess Grandmaster and chess prodigy currently ranked number one in the world on the official FIDE rating list. He is only the second person to achieve a rating greater than 2825, exceeded only by Garry Kasparov.
* On 26 April 2004 Carlsen became a Grandmaster at the age of 13 years 148 days, making him the third-youngest Grandmaster in history. On 1 January 2010 the new FIDE rating list was published, and at the age of 19 years 32 days he became the youngest chess player in history to be ranked world number one, breaking the record previously held by Vladimir Kramnik.
Koneru Humpy
* Humpy Koneru is a chess grandmaster from India. Her January 2010 FIDE Elo rating is 2614, placing her number two in the world for women (behind Judit Polgár). In 2007 she surpassed the rating of 2577 set by Susan Polgar to become the second-highest ranked female player in history. She became the second female player ever, after Judit Polgár, to exceed the 2600 Elo mark.
* From 2002 through 2008, Humpy held the record as the youngest woman ever to become a grandmaster (not merely a Woman Grandmaster), which she achieved at the age of 15 years, 1 month, 27 days, beating Judit Polgár's previous mark by three months; however, this has since been surpassed by Hou Yifan.
